On Thursday, February 5, 2026, the Western Regional Minister joined health professionals from Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire to launch a large-scale cross-border campaign focused on reproductive health, family planning, and HIV/AIDS.
The initiative is designed to ensure that essential health services reach mobile and border communities, removing barriers to access and delivering care directly to those who need it most.
Ultimately, the campaign seeks to improve population health outcomes and promote socio-economic development across member states of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
