At the Top Management Retreat held in Takoradi, the Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, addressed this year’s theme: “Transforming for Impact and Growth: People, Performance, and Compliance.”
He noted that the theme reflects the significant responsibility placed on the Authority, which has been tasked with mobilizing approximately GHS 230 billion to support national revenue generation and advance the government’s development agenda.
The Western Regional Minister commended the Ghana Revenue Authority for selecting the Western Region as the host of the retreat, emphasizing the region’s strategic importance as a hub for major extractive, industrial, and maritime activities, and its critical role in Ghana’s economy.
