Madam Joycelyn Ekuba Amihere, Human Resource Manager at the Ghana Education Service, Western Regional Directorate, has marked her 60th birthday with the launch of a book celebrating a career defined by service, purpose and impact.
The milestone celebration, held under the theme “Celebrating Purpose, Legacy & New Beginnings,” brought together colleagues, friends, family and well-wishers to honour her contribution to public service and education administration.
The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nelson, joined the celebration and commended Madam Amihere for choosing to document her experiences and lessons through the book, describing it as a valuable contribution to knowledge-sharing, particularly for those in public service.
The celebration also highlighted the importance of preserving institutional experience and passing knowledge to younger professionals. Madam Amihere’s transition into a new chapter was presented as an opportunity to reflect on a life of service while continuing to inspire others.
The Minister encouraged public servants and professionals to use their talents, experiences and opportunities to create meaningful impact in the lives of others.
As Madam Amihere begins this new chapter, her 60th birthday and book launch stand as a celebration not only of longevity, but of purposeful service, accumulated knowledge and a legacy that can continue to influence others.
