The Regional Department of Agric trained women farmers and other value chain actors on Food safety and value addition to agricultural products (processing/preservation). In this regard, a two-day training program was organized for WIAD officers, processors, and caterers to educate them on food safety, as well as empower them to go into the packaging of their processed products under safe and hygienic conditions to improve their income and livelihood. The training took place at the Essikado Sub-Metro Conference Room from 13th-14th October 2022
