The contract signing ceremony was overseen by the Hon. Western Regional Minister, Joseph Nelson, and attended by the Acting Regional Coordinating Director, Mrs. Rachel Fosua Sarpong. Present at the event were Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs), alongside their Coordinating Directors and Human Resource Managers.

He urged Chief Executives and Coordinating Directors to demonstrate leadership, professionalism and teamwork in implementing their agreed targets.
The Regional Minister emphasized that the contracts are not mere formalities but binding commitments that require measurable outputs, timely delivery of projects, prudent use of public resources and improved responsiveness to the needs of citizens. He further encouraged MMDAs to focus on innovation, transparency and inclusive development in their operations.
