Mission Statement of the WRCC
The WRCC Exists To Facilitate The Overall Development Of The Region By Effectively Co-Ordinating, Monitoring And Evaluating Plans And Programmes Of The Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), Metropolitan, Municipal, District Assemblies (MMDAs), And Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), In Order To Improve The Quality Of Life Of The People.
This Is Achieved Through:
- Dissemination Of Government Policies (Projects/Programmes) And Directives To The MDAs/MMDAs And The General Public; And Ensuring Their Implementation,
- Provision Of An Enabling Environment For Private Sector Development And Its Collaboration With The Public Sector In The Region,
- Facilitating The Provision Of Basic Socio-Economic Infrastructure; And Identifying And Marketing The Region’s Potential And
- Providing Data And Technical Backstopping To The MDAs/MMDAs For Planning Purposes.
